The Farmer picked for finalist selection for Abbotsleigh Art Prize.

A national acquisitive prize for two-dimensional work, named for the Abbotsleigh alumna who helped pioneer modernist painting in Australia. This year's theme, "Making Connections", takes its cue from Cossington Smith's own attention to family, home, and a changing Sydney. Up to 40 finalists, $35,000 across three awards. Finalists' exhibition runs until 15 August.
